Fleurs Sonores, Abeilles Nomades was a unique artistic and ecological project in Collaboration with Ensemble Caprice. Through a series of outdoor concerts in the microforest at Mahatma Gandhi Park, the project celebrated the connection between music, nature, and community.

Over three weekends, audiences were invited to wander through the park and experience 60 musical works performed during 12 concerts, each linked to one of the 600 native trees and shrubs planted there by residents. The performances combined European baroque music and Middle Eastern traditions, creating a living dialogue between cultures and species.

Community and resident engagement play a vital role in our work. We make it a priority to involve local voices and perspectives in every project we undertake. This series of events was created so that the public could understand the importance of our microforest and learn about the local species and invasive species we can find along the corridor.

After each concert, guests received packets of native flower seeds and practical advice from the Corridor team, encouraging them to plant and support urban biodiversity at home. Like flowers that attract pollinators, the music drew people who carried seeds across the city. The citizens became the pollinators; the music was the flowers.
