Melliferous meadows, food for everyone!
Did you know that pollinating insects allow us to have good fruits and vegetables?
This is the goal of our honey meadows project!
This project involves planting a lot of various flowers that pollinating insects love. This makes it possible to create a place where they can feed on these flowers, rest and reproduce, and then go and pollinate the plants in our vegetable garden. This is how they allow us to have fruits and vegetables to harvest!
We have thus created honey meadows by planting flower mixtures that are highly appreciated by the insects that obtain food from them. We have also created paths to allow gardeners to walk in this previously inaccessible area!
